Both Sides of the White Coat
Medical Parental Empowerment Non-fiction

This book is a factual account of my son's first three years, from surviving critical illness immediately after birth to overcoming a terminal diagnosing and graduating from Hospice, to somehow thriving after recurrent intensive care unit hospitalizations. Vividly emphasized with such personal events, the book empowers other parents coping with similar circumstances through advice and insights born of both a physician's insider's medical perspective and a fellow parent's empathy and understanding. My experiences lay bare the good and the bad of today's current medical establishment.
